Invasion of the Turks!

Yesterday we got a shipment of baby turkeys in the mail. They are some seriously cute birdies. I do believe they think I am their mom, as they try to impress me by doing little backflips (hilarious to watch). If I wiggle my fingers in front of them, 5 will line up, one for each finger, and will be like tiny puppets. It's like a turkey ballet.

I would try to develop a routine, and hit the road with Tha Baron's Turkey Circus, but unfortunately, they are not that bright (they will actually drown when it rains if you are not careful... just by looking up with their mouths open). So I doubt I will have any luck in synchronizing their shenanigans.

Out On The Town

I know... I know... I haven't 'writ' a 'flog' in a 'quick minute' and would like to offer up an 'splination'.

There's always the work to blame. On the bright side we now have crops in the field. Here's a list...

Potatoes
Tomatoes
Peppers
Squash (WOOO ZUCINI)
Cucumbers
Onions
Various Herbs
Various Flowers
Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower
Eggplant
Various BEANS

That's all I can remember at the moment... and that is not including the perennials.

Another possible excuse, is that now that I am more familiar with the area, and can borrow the Truck, I've been spending many of my off hours off the Farm.

Been making friends, playing muzak, writing, and enjoying life in general.
